Israeli defense officials: Syria accelerating efforts to rebuild its air force
Israeli defense officials have identified signs that Syria is accelerating efforts to rebuild its air force, a year and eight months after the collapse of the Assad regime and the IDF's declaration that it had destroyed Syria's air capabilities.
According to the report, Syria has begun recruiting new pilots, conducting flight training and recently held its first fighter jet exercise in the country's north.
