Israeli Defense Minister: Israel killed Khamenei because he wanted to destroy it
Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz clarified that, despite claims accusing the U.S. of killing former Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, he was "eliminated by Israel because he initiated and led the plan for the destruction of Israel in Iran and in the region."
"Any Iranian leader who tries again to advance plans for the destruction of Israel will also be thwarted," Katz warned, adding that "the cries of 'Death to Trump' during the funeral are a disgrace and testify to the true character of the ayatollahs' regime, beyond the campaign of taqiyya and the smiles."
"The powerful attack on Iran, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump, removed the immediate threats of destruction from over Israel and severely damaged Iran's strategic capabilities. Israel is prepared to return to defending itself, by its own forces, at any time and against any threat," Katz emphasized.
