Israeli army shells targets in Lebanon after renewed Hezbollah attacks
The Israeli Air Force thwarted an infiltration attempt by a Hezbollah terror cell from Lebanon into northern Israel, IDF Spokesman Brig.-Gen. Daniel Hagari announced on Tuesday morning.
The IDF killed four terrorists in the process.
Shortly after, an anti-tank missile was launched from Lebanon toward the northern Israeli town of Metula.
Two Israelis were lightly injured by the missile.
The IDF ordered Metula residents to seek shelter and responded with heavy artillery and tank fire against targets in Lebanon.
