Israeli and Arab officials urge U.S. to delay possible strike on Iran

Israeli and Arab officials have urged the U.S. administration to hold off on major strikes against Iran, arguing the regime is not yet weak enough for an attack to bring it down, NBC reported Wednesday.

The officials advised President Donald Trump to wait until the regime is under greater strain, warning that premature action could rally Iranians around the flag and fail to achieve lasting results. Israeli officials said intervention now would “not finish the job.”

They proposed first weakening the regime through expanded access to communications, tougher sanctions, cyber operations, and limited military actions against key Iranian figures.

A White House official said all options remain with the president, who weighs differing views before deciding.
