Israeli 'Alliance of Brothers' delegation heads to earthquake-stricken Colombia
An 80-member Israeli humanitarian delegation departed for Colombia following the earthquake, the IDF said Friday. The “Alliance of Brothers” delegation combines personnel from the IDF, Defense Ministry and Foreign Ministry, including a rescue team and specialists serving in both active and reserve roles.
The delegation is expected to begin search-and-rescue operations immediately upon arrival, using rapid mapping of affected areas to locate survivors and support local efforts. Specialized rescue equipment was packed and loaded ahead of the mission’s departure.
