Israeli Air Force eliminates Hamas rocket force vice-commander
The Israeli Air Force succeeded in killing Muhammad Katmash, the vice commander of the artillery corps of the Hamas terror organization in the Gaza Strip, the IDF announced on Sunday.
Katmash was responsible for controlling the rocket fire from the central areas of the Gaza Strip and was part of planning the Hamas warfare against Israel for years.
The IDF also struck several other Hamas terrorists, including the commander of a cell responsible for firing rockets, and destroyed weapon production facilities and military headquarters.
Earlier on Sunday, the IDF stated that it had killed two members of the “Nukhba” Hamas commando force in an airstrike near the Gaza border fence the previous evening.
