Israel to cut number of reservists to save millions of shekels
Following the ceasefire, the IDF is working to reduce the number of reservists on duty — especially those repeatedly attached to different units and serving mainly in headquarters roles. The move is part of an effort to “tighten the tap” that remained wide open throughout the war and scale back reserve usage.
