Israel to build new international airport in the Negev desert

Israel’s first supplementary international airport, to be built in Ziklag, in the Negev (southern Israel), will have its location determined by the cabinet on Sunday.

The announcement was made Wednesday evening in a joint statement by the Prime Minister’s Office, the Transport Ministry, and the Finance Ministry.
