Israel road deaths make 2025 the deadliest year in two decades

A pedestrian in his 50s was killed overnight after being struck by a vehicle on Route 34 near Nir Am.

The fatality brings the number of people killed in road accidents in Israel this year to 450, making 2025 the deadliest year on the roads in two decades.
