Israel Police en route to Austria as missing mother-daughter case escalates
The investigation into the disappearance of Israeli mother and daughter Mali and Liel Yahalomi was transferred Wednesday evening to Israel Police’s Lahav 433 unit (roughly equivalent to the American FBI).
Police are operating two round-the-clock command centers, one in Israel and one abroad, under the direction of Police Commissioner Danny Levy.
Additional police personnel are also on their way to Vienna, where the two went missing, to assist with the investigation.
