Israel marks 1,000 days since Oct 7 with memorials and protests
Memorial events and demonstrations are taking place across Israel on Thursday as the country marks 1,000 days since the attacks of October 7, 2023.
Beginning at 6:29 a.m., the exact time the onslaught began, organizations representing bereaved families will hold demonstrations outside government buildings, calling for government accountability.
Throughout the day, memorial events will be held, including a nationwide moment of silence at 10:00 a.m. in commemoration of the victims.
