Israel holding ‘discussions’ about today's list of hostages to be freed, families have not yet received word

The families of the 11 Israeli hostages who are set to be released by the Hamas terror organization have not yet received word from Israeli officials, as they are still in discussion about the list sent by Hamas, according to Israeli media reports on Monday morning.

The delay is reportedly due to problems with the list of names that was sent to Israel by Hamas on Monday morning, hours later than what is stipulated in the agreement.

“Discussions are being held on the list that was received overnight and which is now being evaluated in Israel,” the Prime Minister’s Office stated.

Hamas promised to release eight children today, and on Sunday violated the condition that children only be released together with their mothers.

During the three previous days, the hostages’ families were updated by Israeli officials the evening before the release, according to a list sent by Hamas with the names of those who would be freed.
