Israel, Czech Republic to deepen economic, political & technological cooperation
The Foreign Ministers of Israel and the Czech Republic declared that they want "to deepen economic, political, and technological cooperation between the two countries," in a joint statement signed at the opening of the Israel–Czech business forum, attended by more than 200 companies and businesspeople.
Czech Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Petr Machánek stated that "I will continue to support strengthening economic cooperation between the Czech Republic and Israel. In addition to that, I will continue to support Israel on the political level and in the European arena."
The office of Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar noted that this came "against the backdrop of efforts to advance sanctions against Israel in the European Union."
