Israel completes David’s Sling tests amid preparations for possible US strike on Iran
Israel conducted a series of tests of the “David’s Sling” air and missile defense system together with the U.S. Missile Defense Agency, the Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD) announced on Wednesday.
The tests included various scenarios “built on operational lessons learned from recent combat and included a wide range of challenging scenarios simulating existing and emerging threats,” said IMOD.
According to the Defense Ministry, “The success of these tests marks another significant technological and operational leap in the system's upgrade.”
