Israel braces for major escalation in Lebanon, sees it as inevitable
Israel is preparing for a significant escalation in Lebanon due to Hezbollah’s continued military buildup in the country.
During a meeting today, Israel presented U.S. envoy Morgan Ortagus with evidence of Hezbollah’s ongoing entrenchment and strengthening in Lebanon, warning that these actions will trigger Israeli military responses.
The United States is currently trying to calm tensions, but Israeli officials say that “it appears unavoidable.”
