Israel Atomic Energy Commission chief: Iran has more than 9 tons of nuclear material outside IAEA oversight
Israel Atomic Energy Commission Director-General Moshe Edri addressed the state of Iran’s nuclear program at a conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), saying that Iran has more than nine tons of nuclear material outside the agency’s oversight, equivalent to more than 10 atomic bombs.
“A public threat by the radical ayatollah regime in Iran to destroy the State of Israel is something we cannot ignore. Israel cannot, and will not, stand idly by in the face of such a threat. We acted to ensure our survival, and we will do so again if necessary,” he added in his speech at the conference.
