IRGC claims tanker attack that killed crew member, warns of global energy crisis
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility overnight for an attack on two Emirati tankers, which killed one crew member and injured eight others, including four seriously.
It warned that cooperation with the US and passage through the mined route will only “delay in the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, leading to a global energy crisis."
