Iranian lawmaker: Iran has taken control of Strait of Hormuz “by force”
Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the Iranian parliament's National Security Committee, declared that Iran has taken control of the Strait of Hormuz “by force” and intends to maintain that control through military means.
Rezaei said Tehran would continue to hold the strategic waterway by force, underscoring Iran's increasingly confrontational stance amid escalating tensions with the United States and its allies.
