Iranian group claims it hacked phone of former PM Bennett, publishes alleged contact list
An Iranian hacker group claims to have broken into former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s cellphone, Hebrew media reported Wednesday.
According to Ynet News, a group called “Handala” said it succeeded in hacking the phone and published an alleged list of contacts as part of “Operation Octopus.”
Bennett has previously called Iran “the head of the octopus” of Israel's enemies.
“You once prided yourself on being a beacon of cybersecurity, parading your expertise before the world. Yet how ironic that your own iPhone 13 has fallen so easily to the hands of Handala,” a statement read.
“For all your boasts and bravado, your digital fortress was nothing more than a paper wall waiting to be breached.”
