Iranian foreign minister: We enter diplomacy with eyes open and will stand firm on our rights
Ahead of the expected opening of negotiations between Iran and the United States in Oman on Friday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Tehran is approaching the talks cautiously but in good faith.
In a post on 𝕏, Araghchi wrote: “Iran enters diplomacy with eyes open and a clear memory of the past year,” stressing that Iran is acting in good faith while firmly defending its rights. He added that commitments must be respected, and said that equal standing, mutual respect, and shared interests are not rhetoric but essential pillars of any sustainable agreement.
