Iranian FM expected in Pakistan amid cautious optimism over talks
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is expected to travel to Islamabad soon as part of negotiations with the United States, Saudi-owned Al Arabiya reported, citing a senior source.
The source said mediators remain "cautiously optimistic" that the talks could produce a breakthrough leading to a ceasefire and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
The source cautioned, however, that more time is needed before a ceasefire can be announced.
