Iran strikes US base in Kuwait, cargo vessel off Oman overnight
Iran's Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) attacked a U.S. base in Kuwait with three drones, a source familiar with the details told i24 News.
The Iranian semi-official Tasnim News Agency cited local reports that loud explosions were heard in Iraq's neighboring Basra province.
In a separate incident overnight, a cargo vessel reported being hit by an unknown projectile off the coast of Oman, the United Kingdom Maritime and Trade Operations (UKMTO) center wrote on X. The IRGC has repeatedly fired on cargo vessels trying to transit the Strait of Hormuz in recent weeks.
