Iran strikes imminent? US advises personnel to leave military base in Qatar by the evening
Amid speculation about an impending U.S. strike against the Iranian regime, Reuters reported that the U.S. military advised some of its personnel based in the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar to leave by the evening.
Reuters cited three diplomats as sources for the report. The US embassy in Doha had no immediate comment.
The U.S. had moved some troops to other bases in the Middle East ahead of the American strikes in Iran last June.
