IDF thwarts drone trying to smuggle weapons over Jordanian border, confiscates 9 pistols & ammo
Israeli troops intercepted an attempt to smuggle weapons into Israel via a drone from Jordan, the Israel Defense Forces stated.
"During the night (Thursday), IDF surveillance and the Air Control Center identified a drone crossing from the eastern border into Israeli territory in an attempt to smuggle weapons, in the area of the Yoav Brigade."
"IDF soldiers thwarted the smuggling attempt, located and seized the drone, which was carrying nine pistols and a large number of magazines," the statement said.
