IDF suspends entry of Palestinian workers into Judea and Samaria settlements
The head of the IDF's Central Command, Maj. Gen. Avi Bluth, has ordered the suspension of Palestinian workers' entry into all Israeli settlements in the West Bank amid heightened tensions.
Under the new directive, workers will only be allowed to enter a settlement if its local authorities submit a request that is subsequently approved. Palestinian workers will, however, continue to be permitted into industrial zones in an effort to maintain separation between populations and help ease tensions.
