IDF strikes Hamas terrorists in Gaza in response to latest ceasefire violation

The Israel Defense Forces struck Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip in response to the latest ceasefire violations by the terror group on Monday, when Israeli troops killed four terrorists who attacked them after emerging from a tunnel near Rafah.

"In response to the blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement yesterday morning (Monday), in which terrorists exited an underground tunnel shaft in eastern Rafah and fired toward IDF troops, the IDF and ISA struck Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip," the IDF reported.

According to Army Radio, the targets were two Hamas officers who were killed in a targeted strike on an apartment in Gaza City.

"These terrorists advanced multiple terrorist plots against IDF troops and the state of Israel. The IDF and ISA will continue to operate against any attempt by the terror organizations in the Gaza Strip to carry out attacks against IDF troops and the State of Israel."
