IDF strikes Hamas targets in Gaza after terrorists attack soldiers
The Israel Defense Forces launched strikes against Hamas in the Gaza Strip after an unsuccessful overnight attack on Israeli troops, the military said.
"An explosive device belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization detonated in the area of the Yellow Line in northern Gaza. In addition, terrorists fired toward the same area. There were no injuries to our forces.
"Immediately afterward, IDF forces struck in the area of the Yellow Line. This constitutes a violation by the Hamas terrorist organization," the IDF stressed.
The incident occurred while U.S. President Donald Trump's envoy Jared Kushner was in Israel to discuss the disarmament process for Hamas as part of the Gaza peace plan.
