IDF soldiers wounded by Hamas explosives in the Gaza Strip in violation of truce
Several IDF soldiers were injured when three explosive devices were activated near them in the northern Gaza Strip on Tuesday afternoon in the first clear violation of the truce agreement, the IDF stated.
“In one of the cases, shots were also fired at the force. As a result, several fighters were slightly injured. The fighters responded by firing at the sources of the gunfire. In both cases, the IDF forces stayed within the agreed ceasefire lines,” the statement read.
A short while earlier, Hamas claimed that the IDF had initiated the conflict and violated the terms of the truce.
