IDF soldier seriously wounded, officer moderately injured in operational accident in southern Lebanon

Two IDF officer cadets from the Gefen Battalion were seriously and moderately wounded in an operational accident in southern Lebanon overnight Saturday, the IDF said.
According to an initial investigation, the two were wounded in the town of Majdal Zoun when a grenade thrown during searches for suspects rolled near them and exploded. They were evacuated to Rambam Hospital in Haifa for treatment.
