IDF soldier killed in Hezbollah drone strike near northern border
The IDF announced that Sgt. Noam Hamburger, 23, from Atlit, was killed after a Hezbollah explosive drone struck an Israeli military position near the northern border.
The drone exploded at the Biranit outpost, located between Kibbutz Sasa and Netua near the Lebanon border. A soldier and a non-commissioned officer were also wounded in the incident, one seriously and the other lightly.
