IDF shoots down 2 drones of unknown origin near Dead Sea
Two drones of unknown origin were shot down in the area of the Jordan border, the Israel Defense Forces stated, noting that they did not cross into Israeli territory.
According to Army Radio, the interception occurred in the area of the Dead Sea and was conducted by fighter jets and by means of electronic warfare (EW).
"The origin of the launch is under review," the IDF noted, adding that "No sirens were sounded in accordance with protocol."
