IDF overhauls defense doctrine drawing lessons from October 7 attack
The IDF has completed a series of significant changes to its defensive doctrine, alert procedures, and force structure as part of its lessons learned from the failures that led to the October 7 Hamas attack, Kan News reported.
According to the report, the reforms were finalized nearly three years after the attack and are aimed at improving the military's readiness to respond to future large-scale infiltration scenarios and other surprise attacks.
