IDF levels Hezbollah tunnel using 24 tons of explosives
IDF soldiers dismantled an underground Hezbollah tunnel in southern Lebanon on Thursday.
The tunnel in the Ras Biyada area was more than 140 meters long and took more than 24 tons of explosives to demolish, the IDF said in a statement later that day.
Living quarters, operational shafts, and numerous weapons were located in the tunnel, the statement said, adding that the tunnel had recently been used by Hezbollah terrorists to advance attack plans.
