IDF launches new wave of airstrikes against Hezbollah in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley
The Israeli Air Force launched a wave of strikes against targets of the terror organization Hezbollah, the Israel Defense Forces stated.
"In response to Hezbollah's repeated violations of the ceasefire understandings, the IDF is striking Hezbollah terror targets in several areas in Lebanon," the military said.
Earlier, IDF Spokesman Col. Avichay Adraee had warned civilians to evacuate from the vicinity of two buildings in the village of Sohmor, in the Bekaa Valley.
Unlike most recent Israeli strikes against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, Sohmor lies deep within Lebanese territory, at a distance of around 25km (15 miles) from the Israeli border.
