IDF launches major drill in Golan Heights amid Northern escalation
Amid heightened tensions along Israel’s northern border, the Israel Defense Forces on Monday launched a General Staff exercise in the Golan Heights to assess the readiness of Division 210 for a potential surprise incident.
The two-day drill, scheduled in advance as part of the IDF’s 2025 annual training program, will include increased movement of military forces throughout the Golan and surrounding valleys. Residents in the area may hear explosions and notice intensified military activity during the exercise.
