IDF kills personal advisor to Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem
The IDF killed the secretary of Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem in an airstrike in Beirut yesterday, the military announced.
Ali Yusuf Harshi was killed in a strike in Beirut’s Tallet Khayat neighborhood, near the Hezbollah stronghold of Dahiyeh.
“A close associate and personal advisor, Harshi played a key role in managing and securing Qassem’s office,” the IDF said in a statement.
The strike came as the military has said that it will continue to operate against the Shia terror group in Lebanon, “as long as Hezbollah continues to threaten our civilians.”
