IDF kills 8 Hezbollah terrorists in wave of airstrikes in northern Lebanon
Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley eliminated eight Hezbollah terrorists, the group confirmed on Saturday.
“What happened yesterday in the Beqaa is a new massacre and a new aggression," responded Hezbollah leader Mahmoud Qamati.
The IDF stated, "Yesterday (Friday), the IDF struck and eliminated several terrorists of Hezbollah’s missile array in three different command centers in the Baalbek area in Lebanon," noting they were working to "accelerate the organization’s readiness and force build-up processes," while planning attacks against Israel.
"Hezbollah’s missile array is the body responsible for launching missiles and rockets toward the State of Israel and has recently been planning launches of this nature toward Israeli territory. The terrorists' actions constitute a violation of the ceasefire understandings between Israel and Lebanon," the ID stated.
