Israel estimates that approximately 100 ballistic missiles launched from Iran were intercepted. The expanded political-security cabinet authorized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Galant and former Defense Minister Benny Gantz to make decisions regarding Israel's response to the Iranian attack.
