IDF confirms drone strike killed Hezbollah terrorist in southern Lebanon on Tuesday
Confirming earlier reports, the IDF said that it was responsible for a drone strike that killed a Hezbollah operative near the town of Taybeh in southern Lebanon yesterday, publishing footage of the strike.
"The terrorist who was eliminated operated to collect intelligence regarding IDF activity in southern Lebanon and took part in Hezbollah’s attempts to reestablish its infrastructure," the military stated.
As it has done after similar strikes, the IDF stressed: "The terrorist’s activities constituted a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon. The IDF will continue to operate to remove any threat and defend the State of Israel."
