IDF chief to take disciplinary action against senior officers, including dismissals
IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir decided today (Sunday) to take personal measures against senior officers who served in the IDF on October 7. The decision was made about two weeks after the submission of the investigation conducted by Maj. Gen. (res.) Sami Turgeman. Among other things, command decisions and dismissals will be made. These are decisions that will change the top ranks of the General Staff and shake the army.
Chief of Staff Zamir summoned a series of senior officers for personal conversations in which the decisions regarding them will be presented. In addition, conversations will be held with lower-ranking officers by the Deputy Chief of Staff.
