IDF battalion doctor killed in Hezbollah drone strike in southern Lebanon

Capt. Dr. Uri Yosef Sylvester, 30, from Tel Aviv, was killed in a Hezbollah explosive drone strike near the Beaufort Castle area in southern Lebanon, the IDF announced.

Sylvester served as the battalion physician of the Shaked Battalion (424) in the Givati Brigade. Seven additional soldiers were wounded in the attack, several of them seriously.
