Hundreds of Haredi protesters gather in Modi’in over attempted arrest of draft evader
Hundreds of Haredi protesters gathered overnight Tuesday outside the home of a draft evader in Modi’in following reports of an attempt to arrest him.
The protesters attempted to break into his residential building, and clashes broke out with security forces. The draft evader was eventually released.
Police said officers had to act to “extract the soldiers” from the scene.
