Home Front Command eases restrictions: Work allowed in buildings with shelters, schools remain closed
Israel’s Home Front Command announced that starting Thursday at 12:00 p.m., updated civil defense guidelines will take effect, shifting the entire country from a strict policy level to a limited one.
Under the new rules, work will be permitted in locations equipped with protected spaces (Mamad shelters), but schools and educational activities will remain suspended. Authorities said the change reflects an updated security assessment while maintaining caution amid ongoing tensions.
