Israel’s women’s under-20 national basketball team won the silver medal at the FIBA U20 Women’s European Championship after falling 79–66 to France in the final in Lithuania.

The runner-up finish marks the best-ever result for Israeli women’s basketball at a European championship, capping a historic tournament for the national team.
