Hezbollah drone strikes northern Israel, no injuries reported
A UAV launched by Hezbollah struck Shomera, northern Israel, on Thursday morning, according to the IDF. Israeli reports indicate that a vehicle was hit and caught fire, with no injuries reported.
Missile and rocket alerts were activated in northern Israel amid concerns over falling debris as the IDF intercepted the projectiles launched by Hezbollah from Lebanon, the IDF statement said.
Despite a three-week extension of the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon announced by U.S. President Trump last week, tensions on the northern front have remained high.
