Hezbollah thanks Iran for pressuring Israel to end military operations in Lebanon
Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem thanked the Iranian regime for its support against Israel in a letter addressed to the chief mediator and Iranian parliament speaker, Mohammed-Bagher Ghalibaf.
Qassem wrote, "through your efforts, pressure was brought to bear on the Israeli entity to agree to an immediate and permarnent halt to military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon, linked to ending the war against the Islamic Republic of Iran as the first and fundamental provision of the agreement between Iran and the United States."
"Iran is shedding blood, confronting the Zionist entity by bombarding it in response to its bombardment of Beirut's southern suburb, while bearing the consequences that threaten war against it and entail tremendous sacrifices," Qassem said, also praising "the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, that luminous force which changed the equation through its might."
