Hezbollah refuses to disarm, claims right to defend itself
In a televised address broadcast by Iranian media, Naim Qassem reiterated Hezbollah’s refusal to disarm, claiming the group’s weapons are meant to defend the Lebanese people. “We will not surrender,” he said, adding that continued strikes must be stopped and that “a line must be drawn.”
Echoing Iran’s Supreme Leader, Qassem also accused the United States of responsibility for the deaths of protesters in Iran, claiming that President Donald Trump seeks to “stop Islamic and free life.”
