Hezbollah launches explosive drones at IDF troops in southern Lebanon; Israeli airstrikes reported
Hezbollah launched explosive drones overnight at IDF troops operating on the Ali Taher ridge in the security zone in southern Lebanon, the IDF said. Israeli forces intercepted one of the drones, while contact with the second was lost. No injuries were reported.
The IDF said it is responding and “will continue to act forcefully against Hezbollah’s repeated attempts to harm our forces.”
Meanwhile, Lebanese media reported Israeli fighter jets carrying out strikes in Arabsalim in the Nabatieh district, apparently in response to the drone attack.
