Heavy rains cause infrastructure damage at southern Israeli Air Force base
Heavy rains in the south caused damage to infrastructure and communication systems at the Israeli Air Force’s Ovda base (Airbase 10). Air Force and IDF teams are conducting inspections to assess the damage caused by flooding and severe weather in the area.
An IDF statement noted: “Damage was caused today to infrastructure and communication systems at Ovda Airbase due to weather conditions. There is no impact on operational capability. Damage assessment is underway.”
