Hamas rocket fired at Eilat from Gaza Strip falls in open area
Hamas terrorists fired a rocket from the Gaza Strip toward Israel’s southernmost city of Eilat on Wednesday afternoon, the IDF confirmed.
Siren alerts sounded in the mountainous area northwest of Eilat and the rocket fell in an open area.
“We launched a missile at Eilat in response to the Zionist massacres against innocent civilians,” Hamas claimed in a statement.
No injuries or casualties were reported as a result of the incident.
The distance between Gaza and Eilat is almost 200 km (over 120 miles).
